Ita Goldberger (B.Mus)
School Co-director
As the music school’s co-director, Ita is responsible for the school’s curriculum and the quad-yearly workshops. A graduate of the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, Ita brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her teaching. She has studied Choir Conduction at the Stockholm Music Pedagogic Institute, and coordinated the Master Classes at the world-renowned Jerusalem Music Centre. Ita’s approach to music teaching is through an emphasis on creativity, innovation and excellence. |

Ron Amram
Guitar & Bass Guitar
Ron has played both guitar and bass since he was fourteen, and has since rarely left sight of his beloved guitars! He is currently completing his B.Mus in Contemporary Music at WAAPA. Coming from a background of Rock and Heavy Metal, and combining those with a passion for Funk, Blues and Jazz, he is a versatile player who enjoys playing anything that comes his way. Ron has played with some of Perth's hottest cover bands and local artists, and has also performed, written and recorded with a number of original bands. His truly open musical mind means his teaching is informed by an extraordinary musical depth. Ron believes that education, dedication and fun are the best tools for becoming a creative, outstanding and successful player. |

Tal Cohen (B.Mus)
Keyboard, Jazz & Improvisation
Tal’s outstanding improvisational skills on the keyboard have earned him a name in Perth’s music scene – and not only in the jazz world! In addition to his regular jazz gigs around Perth, Tal also plays the keyboard with in-house band Sambalicious at the fiery “Latin Quarter” – the Deen Hotel’s regular Brazilian party that attracts a crowd of over 450 people every Thursday night. A graduate of WAAPA, Tal brings talent, dedication and humour to his teaching. |

Carrie Pereira
Singing
Carrie began her musical education at a young age, playing the violin and piano at age seven and then taking up singing when she was in her early teens. Carrie is due to complete her B.Mus in Contemporary Music this year, following four years of study at WAAPA. Carrie is a natural with her students, teaching each child according to their own musical preferences. When she is not teaching music, you will find Carrie performing with various cover bands in Perth, and sharing her captivating vocals in the duo Tika. |
