With many of the world’s leading chefs promoting awareness about the benefits of fresh food made from fresh ingredients, many people are now seeking tasty, affordable alternatives to processed food.

Here at Genesis vegetarian restaurant, we like to keep it fresh and local, so that our food is tastier, healthier, and supports a sustainable lifestyle. Here’s how:

  • The majority of herbs and spices we use at Genesis, and some of the vegetables, are picked freshly from our own organic garden

  • The eggs we use come from our own happy chooks

  • The fresh fruit in our food and cakes comes from the orchards of local growers

  • The cheese we use comes from an excellent local dairy farm

  • The oil we use is top quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil, made right here in WA

  • We use lots of legumes (like lentils and beans), favourite grains packed with protein goodness, and tasty nuts and seeds – so that each dish makes for a balanced, nutritional meal

  • Many of our dishes are also available in wheat-free, dairy-free or vegan, for those with particular dietary needs.

  • We do not use any cream or deep frying in our cooking, or in the baking of our cakes

  • Our bread is full grain bread, with delicious natural extras like nuts, herbs and seeds! We also offer wheat-free bread for those sensitive to wheat

  • Our scrumptious boutique cakes are freshly baked every morning at the premises, with some options to cater for gluten and/or dairy sensitive customers

  • All of our fruit juices – like apple, pear and carrot – are freshly squeezed with nothing added – guaranteed 100% juice!

  • The coffee brand we use in our quality coffee is Fairtrade Certified
