Restaurant - Special Events

With live music sessions and local art exhibitions showing at the restaurant, the idea behind Genesis in the Hills is to turn the restaurant/café into a community meeting place.

It’s a space where people can meet not just for a meal, but also to sit and chat, read a good book with a glass of red (BYO, no corkage fee), discuss those ever important philosophical issues, or just relax and listen to music. If you are interested in bringing your own CD with you, you are invited to do so and we might be able to play it.

Since opening in September 2007 we have held regular Live Jazz Sessions here at Genesis, featuring many fresh talents from WAAPA, as well as the talented teachers from our own School of Music.
